My name is Natalie Crosby and I currently hold a position as a Technology Training/Integration Specialist for Cobb County School District in Cobb County, Georgia. I travel between four schools in our district - two middle and two high schools and often facilitate district level trainings for other certified and classified employees who do not serve as traditional classroom teachers. In this role I assist with technology needs, collaborate on lesson plans and implementation, provide training on both software and hardware, and develop innovative solutions to various classroom needs. I am currently a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a Microsoft Master Trainer, a Certified Minecraft Educator, and a SMART Exemplary Educator.
I completed the Master's Degree program at Kennesaw State University, graduating in July 2015 with honors. (If you are looking for my Electronic Portfolio I completed as part of my graduation requirements, please click here.) I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008 with a BacheIor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. After graduation, I began teaching high school math and science at a private school. After two years of teaching in private school, I began teaching high school science in public school, specifically environmental science at Lee County High School Ninth Grade Campus in Lee County, Georgia. In the fall of 2014, I changed positions within Lee County and I began as the K - 5 Instructional Technology Specialist, which allowed me to work with teachers and staff at four different schools in our district. Due to changes in my position, I served grades K-12 at all district schools before relocating to Cobb County School District in the summer of 2017. I have been with Cobb County School District for the past two years. Prior to my time in Cobb County, I served as an Instructional Technology Specialist for Lee County School System in Leesburg, Georgia. |
